(H.B. Elkins) Your eyes are not fooling you. That is a PA 97 Shield in this photo that H.B. took. However; it's an error, this should be a WV 97 shield for its Western Terminus at US 52/WV 80 in Hanover. In 2002, H.B. returned to Hanover and captured another view of the terminus, including a correct WV 97 shield, from US 52/WV 80 South.

(H.B. Elkins) The Eastern Terminus of WV 97 is at the WV Turnpike in Mabscott. WV 16 continues North from this point.
