WV 331

West End: Mt. Alto

East End: Cottageville

WV 331 is a former alignment of US 33. US 33 was moved onto WV 2 and then a new alignment sometime in the 1970s. US 33 would be moved onto a new alignment in December 2003 and would be replaced by an extension of WV 62.

(H.B. Elkins) The Western Terminus of WV 331 is at WV 2 & WV 62 in Mt. Alto. The western terminus also marks the western most point of the WV 2/62 multiplex.

A look at the terminus from former US 33 East now WV 62 North. By comparing the various photos at the eastern terminus, the original US 33 is of an older quality of highway versus WV 62 (former US 33).
