West End: West Hamlin.

East End: Sweet Springs

WV 3 is one of WV's longest running East/West state routes. It may in fact be the longest.

(H.B. Elkins) The Western Terminus of WV 3 at WV 10 in West Hamlin.

(H.B Elkins) The Eastern Terminus of WV 3 is at WV 311 in Sweet Springs. The terminus is located near the Virginia Line. WV 311 South leaves West Virginia for the final time about one mile further south.
