Southern Terminus: I-94/US 41, Franklin-Oak Creek Border, Racine-Milwaukee County Line.
Northern Terminus: WI 24, Milwaukee, Milwaukee County.

Designated in 1999, WI 241 occupies the former routing of US 41 along 27th St. through the southern portion of Milwaukee County. At that time, US 41 was re-routed onto I-94 from the Racine-Milwaukee County Line up to the Stadium Frwy. interchange, where it re-joins its previous routing. The former US 41 north of the WI 24 intersection, Layton Blvd., was turned back to local control. Also as a result of the re-routing of US 41, the US 41/WI 59 multiplex along National Ave. became just WI 59, and the Stadium South Arterial, now known as Miller Park Way, became the unsigned WI 341.

Southern Terminus

The Southern Terminus of WI 241 is at a partial interchange with I-94/US 41 (Exit 325) on the border between the communities of Franklin and Oak Creek, at the point where it meets the Racine-Milwaukee County Line. At this exit, the only maneuvers possible are from WI 241 South to I-94 East/US 41 South, and from I-94 West/US 41 North to WI 241 North.

Northern Terminus

The Northern Terminus of WI 241 is at its junction with WI 24 in Milwaukee. This, the intersection of 27th St. and Forest Home Ave., doubles as the Eastern Terminus of WI 24.
