PA 88

North End: PA 51 (Overbrook Section of Pittsburgh)

South End: Point Marion

The Northern Terminus of PA 88 is at PA 51 in the Overbrook Neighborhood of Pittsburgh. This intersection is part of the Maytide & 88 bottleneck on 51. Also the last mile of PA 88 is bounded by Saw Mill Run. This section is often subject to flooding and landslides. Barb and John Bee took this great photo.

Truck PA 88 serves as a truck bypass of the town of California, Jeff Kitsko provides shots of both termini of this route.

The two photos above show the Northern Terminus of Truck 88 near the Califorina Interchange of PA 43. Below is the Southern Terminus of TRUCK 88.

I was able to get the Southern Terminus of PA 88 is in Point Marion. The 'END' of PA 88 just fall one block short of US 119. In fact the signs on US 119 read 'TO' PA 88 at the intersection one block to the left in this photo.
