Pennsylvania State Route Ends
From PA 3 to PA 999

A Brief History:
In 1998, I began a simple webpage with various photos from Pennsylvania, including a small page with some state route begins/ends.  I mainly had US Ends, which I also had submitted to Dale Sanderson's Page. During the year 2000, I was able to acquire a few more state highway ends, but at the same time I moved to North Carolina.  Also that same year, fellow (use your own politically correct roadgeek term here) Brandon Gorte 'challenged' other (again insert user-friendly road-term here) to make state highway ends.  I developed my North Carolina State Highway Ends page first being that I now live in NC.  However, in March of 2001 with the help of many people and personal efforts on homeward trips, I finally have been able to dedicate page space to Pennsylvania State Highway Ends. 

For Updates Please Click Here.  04/23/07: PA Ends has been updated through much of April, and the additions are complete.  Added this month include the termini of the Commonwealth's newest state route, PA Turnpike 576.  Also, new photos for 12 other state routes some of which updated for the first time in five years!  Many thanks to Jeff Kitsko, newcomers Jason Reighard, John Revelli, and Clint Godlesky.  I also include photos of my own for three routes.

Recently, State-ends.com was mentioned in an online travel article by the Associated Press' Ted Anthony.  It has run in various publications including the May 17, 2005 Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.  Also, PA State Route Ends, State-ends.com, and contributors John and Barb Bee were featured in an article by the Harrisburg Patriot News.  The story ran August 2, 2004 and can be read here.  Keep up with my sites in the news, here.
