North End: Pittsburgh

South End: Clairton

The Northern Terminus of PA 885 is at the Crosstown Expressway (I-579) in Downtown Pittsburgh. This is an awesome shot from Barb B.! PA 885 for its final few miles is part of the Blvd. of The Allies. The unique thing about this interchange is that drivers do NOT have the option of continuing on the Blvd. of The Allies into Downtown. Travelers on the Blvd. heading from Downtown to Oakland have a continuous road. Also, motorists exiting from the inbound Liberty Bridge (I-579 North) have the option of takingthe Blvd. into Downtown. However, as earlier stated, those coming in from Oakland do not. Just another quirk of Pittsburgh Roads!

The Southern Terminus of PA 885 is at PA 837 in Clairton. The vehicle in the picture is turning onto PA 837 South. Compared to the Northern Terminus PA 885's South End is rather simplistic.
