North End: South Bethlehem

South End: Nu Mine

The Northern Terminus of PA 839 at PA 28/66 in South Bethlehem. This intersection is just shy of the Red Bank Creek Crossing of PA 28/66. Sometime in the 1980's PA 839 was truncated to this location. For possibly six decades, PA 839 turned right onto PA 28/66 North over the creek. It then turned left at the current terminus of PA 861. The designation then followed current SR 2003 to PA 68 in Reidsburg.
