The Northern Terminus of PA 747 is at US 22 in Mt. Union. Until a
few years ago, this was the western point of the US 22/522 multiplex; however,
in 2000 a US 522 bypass (non-limited access) was built to the east of Mt.
Union. When the new 522 opened, PA 747 was routed an additional one
mile northward along the old 522 alignment to its new terminus as shown
above.

This was the Northern Terminus of PA 747 until 2000. Up until then,
this would have been the view of the terminus from US 522 North.
US 522 North had continued straight, that of course is now PA 747 North.
(Tim Reichard)
Here is a view of what was the last few feet of PA 747 North. Now
the 747 designation continues with a left turn. Signs on the former
US 522 South now read 'TO' US 522.
(Denis Malvern)
The Southern Terminus of PA 747 is at PA 994 in
Three Springs. There is not an 'END' sign present.
