The Northern Terminus of PA 696 is at PA 997 in Newburg.  The barely visible 'END' sign is posted at the intersection.  The range in the background are the Blue Mountains.

The Southern Terminus of PA 696 is again at PA 997 just west of I-81 in Scotland.
