PA 66 may have the most bannered routes of any state route in Pennsylvania.  With Toll, Alternate, and Business, the PA 66 Ends page will be very detailed!

PA 66 Mainline:

Mainline PA 66 runs from its Northern Terminus at US 6 in Kane, which is shown here in a photo from Dave Chary...

...To its Southern Terminus at US 22 and Toll 66 in Delmont.  There is not an 'END' PA 66 sign at the terminus; however the non-toll designation ends near US 22 in Delmont.

Toll PA 66 begins shortly after going underneath the overpass.

Toll PA 66:

Toll PA 66's, aka PA Turnpike 66, Northern Terminus is in Delmont at US 22 and mainline 66. Overhead signs foreshadow what is to come.

This is a wide view of the terminus of PA TPK 66 North.  US 22 runs left to right in the background.  Mainline 66 continues straight ahead.

Alternate PA 66:

(David Brunot)

Believe it or not, the Northern Terminus of Alternate PA 66 is at PA 66 at Crooked Creek Lake State Park in Armstrong County.  Someone had taken both '66' shields when David photographed this in the winter of 2002.  Below, David photographed the Northern Terminus via PA 66 south.

Business PA 66:
Runs from Delmont at Toll PA 66 along a former alignment of PA 66 to US 30 in Southwest Greensburg.

(Jeff Kitsko)

The North End of Business 66 does not have an 'END' sign like the southern terminus.  It is also a lot quieter, too.

(Jeff Kitsko)

The Southern Terminus also features a 'BEGIN' sign.

Bonus Coverage: Historical Southern Terminus
PA 66's historical terminus was in Downtown Greensburg.  Greensburg served as the southern terminus until PA TPK 66 opened in the 1990s.

In the photo, Otterman Street is the cross street.  PA 66 came into town is North Main Street.
