The Southern Terminus of PA 607 is at PA 872 in Austin. Austin was the location of a flood disaster that occurred in 1911. For more information about the flood and Austin. Interestingly, the Southern Terminus of PA 607 is one of the rare termini that has two 'END' signs posted. This 'END' sign is located at the actual intersection with PA 872. This photo was taken by David Slauenwhite. David Brunot reports that the 'END' sign located with the 'JCT' PA 872 sign is still standing.
