PA 516

North End: Spring Grove
South End: Maryland State Line in Manheim Township

Many thanks to Jason Ilyes and Tim Reichard for their photos below.

The Northern Terminus of PA 516 is at PA 116 in Spring Grove. Spring Mills is home of PH Gladfelter, one of the largest paper mills in the United States.  Below, Jason includes other photos from the terminus.

In this shot, Jason is on the last remaining feet of PA 516.  PA 116 comes from the left and curves to go straight and over the rise in the near distance.  Straight ahead would be PA 116 East.  A left turn puts the traveler on PA 116 West.

The same intersection this time via PA 116 West.  PA 516 begins straight ahead and PA 116 bears left and on to Hanover.

The Southern Terminus of PA 516 is at the Maryland State Line in Manheim Township just north of the town of Lineboro, MD.  PA 516 continues as MD 86 once entering Maryland.  Below, Jason captures PA 516 crossing into Maryland and becoming MD 80.

Here is the first PA 516 North shield taken by Tim Reichard.  This sign combination gives a lot of information from the route number to it being placed at the state line.
