Many thanks to Tim Reichard for the photos and descriptions of the Western Terminus of PA 443. The western terminus of PA 443 is at Front Street in Fort Hunter. This Front Street is an extension of Front Street, Harrisburg. Traffic that runs the stop sign will go swimming in the Susquehanna River.

Southbound Front Street sees this view of the Dauphin County terminus, which is a long way from the eastern terminus in Lehighton in Carbon County.

Here is a close-up view of the signs at the intersection.

This photo shows the scene on the westernmost segment of PA 443. Like PA 39, PA 443 meets US 22/US 322 at an interchange just before its terminus with Front Street, which was once US 22/US 322. The terminus is just behind the camera.
