PA 426

NE Erie County North End: North East
NE Erie County South End: NY Line
Erie/Warren Segment North End: NY Line North of Corry
Erie/Warren Segment South End: Garland

PA 426 is an interesting route as its Pennsylvania Routing is cut by the State of New York.  The multistate route of PA/NY 426 has its Northern and Southern Terminus in PA.

Northeast Erie County Segment:

The Northern Terminus of PA 426 is at PA 89 in North East.  Barb Bee took this photo while PA 89 South was closed.  There was not an 'END' sign in place.

The Southern Terminus of PA 426 is at the NY State Line.  In the above photo, John Krakoff shows the 'Welcome to New York' sign and the first South NY 426 shield.  Below, he has a photo of the first North PA 426 upon the highway's return to the Commonwealth.

Erie/Warren County Segment:

The Northern Terminus of PA 426 is at the NY State Line north of Corry.  David Brunot got the photo.  An 'END' Sign was not present, but the first NY 426 North Shield is.

David also took a photo of the Southern Terminus is at PA 27 in Garland.  David also notes that this used to be the terminus for PA 77 until that was changed about 20 years ago.  For more information on the changes to PA 426, PA 77 and PA 277 go here.
