The Southern Terminus of PA 407 has moved recently further south to an
intersection with US 6/11 in Clarks Summit closer to the PA Turnpike.

This view is from US 6 West/US 11 North. The bridge in the background
is the High Falls Bridge that carries the Northeast Extension (I-476).
The bridge was once the highest on the Turnpike at 190 feet above the ground.
That title now goes to the Joe Montana Bridges that carry PA 43 over a
valley in Washington County.
Historical Southern Terminus: Clarks Summit
...the former Southern Terminus of PA 407 at US 6/11 in Clarks Summit.
Located just west and north of US 6/11's interchange with I-476 and I-81,
there was not an 'END' sign located at the terminus.

This is from the same intersection from the photo above. The only
change made was a 'TO' banner replaced the 'NORTH' banner. Unless
you visited this site, you probably wouldn't have noticed the difference.
