PA 39

West End: Harrisburg

East End: Hershey

(Tim Reichard) The western terminus of PA 39 is at Front Street on the northern outskirts of Harrisburg. Like PA 443, PA 39 meets US 22/US 322 at an interchange just before its terminus with Front Street, which was once US 22/US 322. PA 39 traffic that does not stop here will go swimming in the Susquehanna River.

(Jay Rotz) The Eastern Terminus of PA 39 is at an odd interchange with US 322 and 422 in Hershey. Here, Jay Rotz shows that an 'END' sign is present. If you continue straight from here you are on US 322 East, as shown in the second (right) photo from Jay. Just beyond the overpass is the ramp leading to US 422 East. You can slightly make out the 'END' 39 sign under the overpass in the second photo.
