PA 34

The Northern Terminus of PA 34 is at US 11/15 just south of Liverpool. This photo was taken by Tim Reichard. When Tim was at this terminus in October of 2001, US 11/15 was being upgraded and there was not an 'END' sign present. He writes:

"No END sign was present, though like PA 104 and PA 17, it may have been removed during the US 11/US 15 upgrade. That upgrade was nearly complete when this photo was taken. The new southbound lanes of US 11/US 15 had not yet been opened, so PA 34 traffic stops on the southbound lanes while two-way US 11/US 15 traffic uses the new northbound lanes."

In December of 2001, Tim returned to PA 34's Northern Terminus found an 'END' sign and photographed the then recently completed intersection.

This shield combination was placed in late October '01. Like the new PA 104 terminus along the newly widened US 11/US 15 highway, PA 34 also ends at a jug handle intersection. The road toward the bottom of the photo below is PA 34. PA 34 ends at US 11/US 15 to the left and heads southward to the right. Behind the camera is an access road. Access control here works in the same manner as that for the jug handle at the southern terminus of PA 104.

At the terminus, Business US 15 makes a right turn, continuing straight puts you on PA 34 North.
