The Northern Terminus of  PA 316 is at US 11 in Chambersburg.  There is not an 'END' sign present here.  US 11 North comes in from the left and continues straight ahead.

The Southern Terminus of PA 316 is at the Maryland State Line south of Waynesboro.  PA 316 continues as MD 60 towards Hagerstown, which as told by the sign in the photo, nine miles to the south.
