The bridge in the background carries US 15 South onto the freeway. A Terraserver image of the area from 1995 shows the Northern Terminus of PA 287 and the beginning of the US 15 Freeway. PA 287 comes in from the bottom right corner.

This LWS denoting the physical end of PA 287 North is found opposite the ramp to the US 15 South used by 287 North traffic. The single bridge in the background is the ramp taking US 15 South traffic - which has taken a bear right and then curves left and up the bridge, as directed by BGS's in the photo below

This is at the northern terminus of the US 15 "Super 2" Freeway that runs from this point south to just north of Covington and PA 660.

(TIm Reichard) The Southern Terminus of PA 287 is located at US 220 just south of Larryville. This view is via southbound US 220.

US 220 North is a two lane highway approaching PA 287. There is not an 'END' sign present at this terminus.
