North End: PA 27 (11 Miles East of Meadville)

South End: Near the Old Stone Church, Butler County

David Brunot sends in a photo of the Northern Terminus of PA 173 at PA 27 about 11 miles east of Meadville. David gives a little more history on PA 173: PA 173 was PA 78 before the intestates were built and it continued east on 27 for about a mile to today's PA 198 were 78 continued north to end on PA 77.

The Southern Terminus of PA 173 is at PA 8 near the Old Stone House, northeast of Lake Arthur. Barb and John Bee sent in this awesome night photo. Below, David Brunot shows just how close the termini of PA 173 and PA 528 are.
