The trek of PA 100 concludes at PA 309 to the Northwest
of Allentown. Below is a photo of the first few moments of PA 100.

In the Spring of 2003 and after pressure from residents in West Chester,
the state truncated PA 100 to US 202 outside of West Chester. The
move was done to remove traffic from various residential streets in the
area. There is also a possibility that other routes that run through
West Chester (3, 52, and 842) may have the same fate. I also want
to thank everyone (over five e-mails) who e-mailed me about this change.
Didn't know that many of you follow this site closely!
Bonus Coverage: Historical Termini

The state line along DE/PA 100 is virtually undetectable. There is no
pavement change, no state line or welcome signage in either direction,
and no standard PA white signage posted. This photo is taken just North
of the intersection of DE
100 at Twaddell Mill Road and looks North. The state line is near this
intersection. Photo taken by Alex
Nitzman.

About a mile North of the above photograph is the last Southbound PA
100 shield posted. Alex Nitzman
took this photo and indicates that there are no Northbound PA 100 shields
for at least 2 miles upon crossing the state line.
