This is the perspective of the south US 23 / US 223 freeway as it prepares to cross from Michigan into Sylvania, Ohio. The overhead guide sign in the background, beyond the OHIO WELCOMES YOU median sign, announces the upcoming interchange with OH 51 and OH 184, which is only 0.75 mile south of the state line. US 223 multiplexes with US 23 from Exit 5 in Michigan, across the state line, and down to the interchange for OH 51 and OH 184, where on the exit ramp stands an END US 223 sign.
