Eastern Terminus



A JCT OH 49 marker stands on eastbound OH 722 as it nears its endpoint in southeastern Darke County, northwest of Phillipsburg.

Here is eastbound OH 722 as it comes to an end at OH 49, where there is no END signage present. Continuing straight ahead is Castine - Gordon Road, which intersects OH 721 about a mile ahead. It seems like OH 722 could easily be extended another mile to end at OH 721, although such a move is not very likely. The OH 722 shield shown here faces southbound OH 49, which meets OH 722 at a 45 degree angle.
