Western Terminus

The western terminus of OH 571 is at the Indiana State Line in the middle of Union City. The cross road at the stop sign present at OH 571's western endpoint is State Line Street which, fittingly, marks the boundary between the Hoosier State and the Buckeye State. Upon clearing the intersection, OH 571 turns into IN 28. A WELCOME TO INDIANA sign is present just after the intersection. It can be seen, in part, behind the gas station sign in this photo.

This is the beginning of OH 571 East. The first reassurance marker is in place just behind the OHIO WELCOMES YOU sign.

Eastern Terminus

The eastern terminus of OH 571 is at a signalized intersection with US 40, southeast of New Carlisle.
