Eastern Terminus

The eastern terminus of OH 47 is at an intersection in Waldo, just west of US 23, that has an unusual attribute. Three state highways have an endpoint at this one intersection. In addition to this being the eastern end of OH 47, it is also the southern end of OH 423 and the southern end of OH 98. There is no END signage present for OH 47 at this location. Shown here is the first OH 47 shield in the westbound direction.

This is the view from OH 423 South as it closes in on the aforementioned intersection. There, OH 47 goes straight ahead, and OH 98 comes in from the left.
