Ohio Route 424

Western Terminus: US 24, 1 mile west of Defiance. | Eastern Terminus: US 24, 4 miles northeast of Napoleon.

Western Terminus

OH 424 follows a former routing of US 24 along the Maumee River between Defiance and Napoleon, as US 24 now follows a much straighter alignment between the two cities. OH 424's western terminus is at US 24, just west of Defiance. There is no END OH 424 shield to be found at this endpoint.

This large shield points to the start of east OH 424 on west US 24.

Eastern Terminus

The eastern end of OH 424 is at US 24, northeast of Napoleon. Just like at its western terminus, there is no END signage in place at the eastern terminus of OH 424, either.

Here is the first reassurance marker for west OH 424, accompanied by an east US 6 shield. The eastern interchange between US 24 and US 6 is located 0.5 mile west of the eastern terminus of OH 424. However, the only permitted maneuvers at that interchange are the merging of west US 6 and west US 24, and the divergence of east US 6 and east US 24. The remaining movements between US 6 and US 24 are possible via OH 424, which has an interchange with US 6 0.5 mile southwest of its eastern endpoint.
