Ohio Route 423

Southern Terminus: OH 47 / OH 98, Waldo. | Northern Terminus: US 23 / OH 231, 6 miles north of Marion.

Southern Terminus

OH 423, the former routing of US 23 through the Marion vicinity before the Marion By-pass opened in 1969, has its southern terminus at an interesting intersection in Waldo, just west of US 23. Three routes end at this one intersection. Besides the southern end of OH 423, it is also the eastern terminus of OH 47 and the southern terminus of OH 98. Here, James is facing southbound OH 423 as it approaches its endpoint, where there is no END signage present. At the intersection, OH 47 goes straight ahead, and OH 98 comes in from the left.
