Northern Terminus

The northern terminus of OH 4 is at its junction with US 6 and OH 101 in downtown Sandusky. There is no END signage in place at this end of OH 4, which also serves as the northern terminus of OH 101 after a brief multiplex with US 6. The first photo shows the standard O.D.O.T. JCT signage, but the second photo shows a non-standard route sign. This most likely has been erected by the City of Sandusky. Sandusky Bay can be seen in the far background of both of these photos.

This is the first reassurance marker for OH 4 South, situated right alongside another OH 4 shield with a straight ahead arrow plate. The reason for the dual markers is unclear at this time.

Here is the beginning of OH 4 South as seen from the perspective of southbound Columbus Avenue, which also features what appears to be a city-erected sign denoting which way the routes go.

A like sign appears on the US 6 West approach to the intersection marking the northern termini of OH 4 and OH 101.
