Northern Terminus

The northern terminus of OH 176 is at I-71 (Exit 247A), just south of I-71's northern terminus at a stack interchange with I-90 and I-490 in Cleveland. There is no direct access from OH 176 North to I-71 South, nor from I-71 North to OH 176 South. As a result, OH 176 splits into ramps that connect to I-90 East and I-90 West/I-490 East as it comes to an end. This has been OH 176's northern endpoint since the Jennings Freeway, a connector between I-480 and I-71, was completed in December 1998, and OH 176 was routed onto the freeway. Prior to that, OH 176 continued north along Broadview Ave. before coming to an end at US 42.
