OH 129 >

Southern Terminus: US 50, Cleves, Hamilton County. | Northern Terminus: US 127 @ OH 129/OH 177, Hamilton, Butler County.

Southern Terminus

The southern terminus of OH 128 is in the far southwest corner of the Buckeye State at US 50 in Cleves.  The Ohio River flows in between the two groups of trees in view in the background.

This shield assembly featuring a TO I-74 trailblazer, along with US 50 West and JCT OH 128 markers, stands on US 50 West, immediately preceding its crossing of the Great Miami River.  The starting point of OH 128 North is a very short distance beyond the bridge.  4 miles ahead, US 50 makes its way into Indiana.  Meanwhile, OH 128 meets I-74, along with I-275 and US 52, at an interchange 5 miles to the northeast of this intersection.

Northern Terminus

Multiplexed with US 127, OH 128 arrives at its northern terminus in downtown Hamilton at its junction with OH 129 and OH 177.   The shields in place, amongst them an END OH 128 shield, appear on an overhead mast arm before the intersection.  This is a common practice in the state just 15 miles to the west, Indiana, but not commonly seen in the Buckeye State.  The OH 177 East marker here is not like the rest...the Ohio outline is backwards!  More on this and other sign gaffs from across Ohio can be found at the Ohio Sign Goofs page.
