Southern Terminus: I-75 @ OH 105, Bowling Green, Wood County. | Northern Terminus: MI State Line, NE of Metamora, Fulton County.

Southern Terminus

The southern terminus of OH 64 is at a four-ramp parclo interchange with I-75 (Exit 181) in Bowling Green, immediately southeast of the campus of Bowling Green State University.  The END OH 64 shield shown close-up in the second picture is brand new, erected in April 2005.  Upon crossing I-75, OH 64 turns into OH 105, which goes on to serve the communities of Pemberville, Woodville, Elmore, and Oak Harbor.

Here is the first reassurance marker for OH 64 North, located just after the I-75 interchange.  The "North" plate above the OH 64 marker is of the newer style of directional plate for Ohio, with the first letter of the direction larger than the rest of the text.  Behind the OH 64 shield in this picture is the Bowling Green State University campus, with the home of the Bowling Green Falcons football team, Doyt Perry Stadium, on the far right side.

These newer shield assemblies appear on the off-ramp from I-75 South to OH 64/OH 105, and point toward the respective starts of OH 105 East and OH 64 North.

Northern Terminus

The northern terminus of OH 64 is at the Michigan State Line, about a mile northeast of Metamora. The state line is marked only by a small, Michigan-standard "Enter Lenawee County" sign in the northbound direction. Some maps erroneously show OH 64 as ending at OH 120. However, as Tom reports, signage in the area shows that OH 64 does indeed continue east from OH 120 along Sylvania-Metamora Road to County Road 2, then north from there up to the Michigan border. The last OH 64 marker is located at the turnoff onto County Road 2, 0.5 mile south of the endpoint. Continuing into Michigan is Loar Highway, a county-maintained roadway.

An "Ohio Welcomes You" sign and a change in the pavement denote the beginning of OH 64 South. The first OH 64 marker is located 0.5 mile south of here, where it turns west onto Sylvania-Metamora Road.
