Southern Terminus


The southern terminus of OH 587 is at OH 53 in the hamlet of McCutchenville, just south of the Wyandot-Seneca County Line.  There is no END signage present at this endpoint of OH 587.

This JCT OH 587 shield and destination sign for New Riegel appear on OH 53 North as it approaches OH 587's southern end.

Northern Terminus


OH 587's northern terminus is at OH 18 in the southeastern corner of Fostoria.

This JCT OH 587 shield assembly with arrow plate appears on OH 18 East on its way out of Fostoria.  OH 587 meets OH 18 near the city limits.  This sign is the only notice of the upcoming intersection with OH 587 along OH 18 East, as there is not an OH 587 shield present at the intersection itself for that direction.

Given the curve of the road and the width of the shoulder at this point, the first southbound reassurance marker for OH 587 is situated several feet off of the main roadway.
