Northern Terminus: OH 103, E of Waynesburg, Crawford County. | Eastern Terminus: PA 68 @ PA State Line, East Liverpool, Columbiana County.

Because of the way in which OH 39 is signed in the field, OH 39 is considered to have a northern terminus and an eastern terminus. Between OH 103 and Mansfield, OH 39 is signed as a north-south route, while between Mansfield and the Pennsylvania border, it is signed east-west.

Northern Terminus

The northern terminus of OH 39 is at OH 103 east of Waynesburg in northeastern Crawford County. An END OH 39 shield assembly is lacking at this endpoint.

There is currently no coverage of the Eastern Terminus of OH 39.
