| The Western Terminus of OH 188 is at US
22/OH 56 in downtown Circleville. There is not an END OH 188 shield
present at the western end of the route. Instead, as is shown in
perspective in the first photo, and close-up in the second, there is a
small sign with US 22 and OH 56 shields, along with three corresponding

at the starting point for OH 188 East. Aaron notes that,
interestingly, this is the only reference to OH 188 in either direction of

| OH 188's Eastern Terminus is at OH 204 in
downtown Thornville. The first photo shows the JCT OH 204 shield in
place as OH 188 East approaches its endpoint. The second photo shows
a TO OH 13 trailblazer located on OH 188 just down the block from the JCT
OH 204 shield, in place as OH 204 meets OH 13 just 0.75 mile to the east
of this intersection. The third photo shows the actual endpoint of
OH 188, including the END OH 188 shield, which is is a very abnormal
spot...hanging down from the traffic signal span wire! The OH 204
shield facing OH 188 East traffic at the intersection is in a more typical
