Northern Entrance

I-75 crosses from Ohio into Michigan at the northern city limit of Toledo, about a mile west of the Lake Erie coast. Prior to 1998, I-75 widened right at the border, from four lanes in Ohio to six in Michigan. In 1998, I-75 was widened to six lanes between the state line and the I-280 interchange 3 miles to the south.
