Interstate 275

Western Entrance: IN State Line, SW of Elizabethtown, Hamilton County. | Eastern Entrance: KY State Line, Cincinnati, Hamilton County.


About I-275


I-275 is the Cincinnati By-Pass, traveling in an 84-mile long loop around the Queen City. I-275 does something no other 3-digit Interstate does: It passes through three different states. Parts of I-275 travel through Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana.

Western Entrance


In the clockwise direction, I-275 makes a brief jaunt into Indiana before crossing into the Buckeye State near Elizabethtown.

Eastern Entrance


In the counter-clockwise direction, I-275 uses the Combs-Hehl Bridge over the Ohio River to pass from Kentucky into Ohio near the extreme southeastern corner of Cincinnati.
