Western Terminus

OH 531 follows the Lake Erie coast from Geneva-on-the-Lake to Conneaut in northeastern Ohio.
OH 531 literally turns into OH 534 at its western terminus, where this END OH 531 assembly is located.

Eastern Terminus

Meanwhile, this END sign for OH 531 can be seen at its east end in Conneaut, which is also the north end of OH 7. OH 531 may be the only route in Ohio which turns into different highways at either end.
