Ohio Route 41

Southern Terminus: US 52 / BUS US 62 / BUS US 68, Aberdeen. | Northern Terminus: US 36 / OH 48, Covington.

Southern Terminus

The southern end of OH 41 is in Aberdeen. No END signage is in place at OH 41's southern terminus. At the time H.B. took this photo, US 62 and US 68 were routed with US 52 through Aberdeen, and then crossed the Ohio River into Maysville, Kentucky on a bridge located 0.25 mile southeast of this intersection. Recently, a cable-stayed bridge opened 2 miles to the northwest which now carries US 62 / US 68 into the Bluegrass State. As a result, the former routing of US 62 / US 68 along US 52 and into Kentucky is now known as BUS US 62 / BUS US 68.

Northern Terminus

After multiplexing with OH 48 for 0.5 mile through Covington, north OH 41 comes to an end at US 36. There is no END signage present for OH 41 here. OH 48 continues on as a solo highway after crossing US 36.

This is the view of south OH 48 as it approaches its junction with US 36 and OH 41. Eric reports that the railroad crossing over OH 48 here is a former Conrail line, which was abandoned in the mid 1980s.
