Interstate 77

Southern Entrance: West Virginia State Line, Marietta. | Northern Terminus: I-90, Cleveland.

Southern Entrance



I-77 departs the Buckeye State at Marietta, where it crosses the Ohio River into West Virginia. At the time Chris shot this photo, I-77 was under construction in the vicinity of the state line, and traffic was reduced to one lane in either direction. The project has since been completed.

Northern Terminus



The northern terminus of I-77 is at Exit 172A off of I-90 in downtown Cleveland. This overhead signage for the upcoming I-77 interchange is located on I-90 West, 0.25 mile from the exit.

Here is the sign gantry present on I-90 West at the starting point of I-77 South. The beginning of I-71 South is only 1.5 miles from the I-77 interchange.
