Interstate 76

Western Terminus: I-71, 2 miles west of Seville. | Eastern Entrance: Pennsylvania State Line, Petersburg.

Western Terminus

I-76's western terminus is at I-71 (Exit 209), west of Seville. US 224, which multiplexes with I-76 for its westernmost 18 miles, continues on after I-76 ends. As seen from the exit ramp to I-71 from US 224 East, this is the first reassurance marker for I-76 East, alongside a US 224 East trailblazer.

Eastern Entrance

I-76 takes over the Ohio Turnpike for I-80 for its easternmost 23 miles. The Ohio Turnpike ends at the Pennsylvania State Line near Petersburg, and turns into the Pennsylvania Turnpike, all the while I-76 maintains its own. This is the final I-76 East trailblazer within the Buckeye State, located 2 miles before the state line and just after the Eastgate Terminal. What is unusual about the trailblazer is that it is a guide sign and not a regular shield assembly.

Just before I-76 East enters into the Keystone State, it passes by this sign thanking travelers for using the Ohio Turnpike.

At the border there is this newer style PENNSYLVANIA WELCOMES YOU sign.

On the westbound side of I-76, where the Pennsylvania Turnpike becomes the Ohio Turnpike, there is this new WELCOME TO OHIO sign.
