About I-670 |
Western Terminus |
The western terminus of I-670 is at a partial interchange with I-70 (Exit 96) in Columbus. Although the END tab here is incompatible
with the I-670 shield, this is nonetheless the only Interstate terminus in Ohio which is marked with a shield, versus either
a guide sign or no signage at all. |
This is the actual end of I-670, as I-70 West comes in on the right side. |
Here is a view of the beginning of I-670 East, as it splits off from I-70 East. When the new section of I-670 opens in late
2003, three lanes will be available for I-670 East, while I-70 East maintains two lanes. For now, two lanes are allotted
for traffic using I-670 East. |

Eastern Terminus |
Following a three mile multiplex with US 62, I-670 arrives at its eastern terminus at I-270 (Exit 35) in Gahanna,
just north of Port Columbus International Airport. This guide sign at the airport interchange warns of I-670's impending end, 1.25 miles ahead. |
I-670 East has four lanes as it heads into the I-270 interchange. US 62, which continues on as a solo route beyond I-270, maintains the center
two lanes. Meanwhile, the right and right-center lanes provide access to I-270 South, and the left and left-center lanes lead to I-270 North. |
