US 76

US 76 is one of the shorter length US highways within North Carolina.  It runs only 82 miles entirely through the Southern Coastal Plain.  There's only one Business US 76 in the state, and that's in Whiteville.  If you are able to get photos of the Business Route end, please e-mail me.

National Eastern Terminus: Wrightsville Beach

The Eastern Terminus of US 76 is in Wrightsville Beach.  It is located at the southern end of the island.  Unlike US 74 which ends only about five miles to the north, there is an 'END' sign present.  The terminus is at a public beach access parking lot bordering the Atlantic Ocean and Masonboro Inlet.
