US 301
Although US 301 is over 200 miles in length, it is
usually largely forgotten. Why, because a large interstate (I-95)
parallels the highway throughout its journey through the Tar Heel State.
US 301 runs through the heart of Eastern North Carolina. Tobacco
fields and great barbecue line this route along with the occasional billboard
for South of the Border. If you have any additional photos or information
for this route, please e-mail me.
