US 129

US 129 is the western most North-South US Highway in North Carolina.  Running through the heart of Nantahala National Forest, US 129 showcases much of the Western North Carolina mountains.

Even though at the state line The Dragon ends, US 129 is still a twisty ride in North Carolina.

Although this page does not have a photo of the Southern End of US 129 in North Carolina at the Georgia State Line, it doesn't mean you can still submit a photo.  If you come across the US 19 and US 129 NC/GA border crossing and can grab a shot, send it this way!
