NC 711

North End: Pembroke

South End: Lumberton

(Adam Prince) The Northern Terminus of NC 711 is at NC 710 just outside of Pembroke. What is odd to me about this route is that it doesn't have one single hint of a North/South travel it's completely East/West. Also, NC 710 which is signed West/East has a more North/South flow than it's bannered direction.

There is not an 'END' sign present at the Northern Terminus. The photo above is of the first South NC 711 shield after the terminus with NC 710.

(Bob Malme) The Southern Terminus of NC 711 is at I-95 in Lumberton. There is an 'END' sign here.

NC 711 has a brief less than one mile multiplex with NC 72 from the terminus. Why not end NC 711 at NC 72?
