The Eastern Terminus of NC 710 is at NC 72 and NC 211 in Red Springs. However, as the photo below indicates, NC 710 Eastern Terminus at one time was at its intersection with NC 72 two miles to the south.
Notice the 'TO EAST NC 710' on the overhead sign.
NC 710's Eastern Terminus at US 501 and NC 130 just east of Rowland. Another interesting twist on the NC 710 tale is that in Rowland there is one West 710 sign in existence between the terminus at this intersection and US 301. What also is odd that along the 2 mile stretch between here and US 301. Trailblazers have a blank space where a NC 710 shield could easily go. (Of course, I didn't get a photo of this.)
