The Western Terminus of NC 6 is on the western edge of Greensboro at I-40.  There is not an 'END' sign at this partial interchange.

The only access to NC 6 East is from I-40 East (Exit 216).

The Eastern Terminus of NC 6 is on the east edge of Greensboro at I-40/85.  The overpass in the photo carries I-40/85 over NC 6 and Lee St.
