NC 400
NC 400 in Manteo is probably the shortest of all NC State routes. It is
approximately one half of a mile long. It runs from US 64/264 to
the historical waterfront and Elizabeth II Vessel. To find NC 400,
look for the BGS directing you to the Manteo waterfront from US 64/264.
NC 400 is a one way street in each direction so be careful that you don't
end up going the wrong way!!!!

When you turn on to NC 400 from US 64/264 you find this sign. This
is the only sign that I know of for East 400.

This is the first sign for NC 400 West. As you can see, in the below
photo from Alex Nitzman, it is only
a One Way Street.

I was fortunate to find an END NC 400 for West 400. What is odd the
end sign is on the other side of the intersection with US 64/264.
Secondary Route 1126 continues from here. The below photo, taken
by Alex Nitzman, gives a wider perspective
of this end., and it shows how the End sign is placed across the street.
