South End: Rocky Mount

The Northern Terminus of NC 4 is at US 158/NC 903 in Littleton.  At the intersection that serves the terminus, NC 903 North leaves its multiplex with US 158 West and runs towards Lake Gaston.  The signs here show the terminus and multiplex split from US 158 East.

Here are another set of signs, this time from US 158 West, at the terminus.  There is not an 'END' sign present here.

The Southern End of NC 4 is at US 301 near Rocky Mount in the former town of Battleboro.

The beginning of NC 4 North is a left hand exit from US 301 North.  This is a connecting route to I-95.
